What is the MediaMagnitude Panel?
The MediaMagnitude Panel is a research study focused on understanding TV viewing and online behavior of those 2 years old and older in the U.S. Each participating member can earn their own rewards every week.

What will be required of me as part of the MediaMagnitude Panel?
To get started, we’ll send you equipment to install on each working TV in your home. We may also send you a new router to help us better understand online media habits. Installation only takes about 10-15 minutes per device and we’ll provide you with easy-to-follow instructions. We also offer installation support if you’d like any assistance along the way.
Once installed, all of your household members 2 years old or older will simply be asked to indicate when they are watching TV (see question below for additional information on how to do so). Each month, you’ll also be sent a short survey to keep us up-to-date on your household, your devices used, etc.
How do I indicate who in my home is watching TV?
To get an accurate picture of how your household watches TV, it’s important for everyone 2 years old or older in your home to let us know when they’re watching.
The easiest way to do so is by installing the MediaMagnitude Presence app on your phone and keeping it open in the background. You would then simply need to keep your phone nearby when watching TV. You can also indicate you’re watching TV by pressing a designated button on a provided remote control each time you start and stop watching.
Does the equipment have a microphone or camera? Does it collect audio or video of those in my home?
No, rest assured that our equipment is designed with privacy in mind. It does not have a microphone or camera, nor does it capture audio or video of those watching in your home.
